About Us
Giri is a passionate and dedicated speech pathologist, committed to collaborating with clients and their families to help them thrive and reach their goals, in a fun, caring and comfortable manner.
He is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist, registered with Speech Pathology Australia.
He began his career in International Relations and Media Studies, upon graduation from the University of Queensland, drawn to communication and cross-cultural interactions. It wasn’t long before he felt a strong need to get more actively involved in helping individuals with their communication and interactions, to help them make meaningful change and lead more fulfilling lives. This led him to complete his Master of Speech Pathology at La Trobe University, graduating in 2014.
He has since gained invaluable experience and expertise working in private practice, helping children and young adults with a wide range of developmental needs, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, fluency disorders social communication challenges, literacy disorders, and speech and language delays and disorders.
Giri strongly believes in tailoring sessions according to individual client strengths and needs, and scaffolding their learning, to maximise the outcomes.
Wordsmith Speech Pathology was launched in 2018, with the vision of helping each individual client build a supportive ecosystem that empowers them to be the best version of themselves.
At Wordsmith Speech Pathology, Giri believes in using an eclectic approach that takes the best of his training to individualise intervention for each individual client that he works with.
